2015 AUTUMN MOTOCROSS FEATURING – SMC ADULT, NGR & 85cc SCHOOLBOY

A beautiful sunny day heralded the start of our last motocross meeting for this year.
The track was in excellent condition thanks to all the hard work of the few members who regularly give their time to allow meetings to run,
With a slightly smaller than normal attendance racing commenced.

A full race program began with fast racing  from the start, the track being run in an anticlockwise direction with riders battling hard in all classes.

The track coped well as the heats passed only giving concern with dust on the rythem section, this was watered during the interval.

Riders that stood out were, expert rider Paul Burn who won all his heats, showing smooth, consistent riding, while Michael McClurg and Paul Edge battled it out with some good close riding.

Junior A&B riders gave a good show of themselves with close entertaining riding
In the over 40s Ryan Griffiths showed a clean pair of heels in all his heats, again showing smooth consistent riding, leaving Tony Leishman and Fraser Law to have good close racing for the lower placing.

The Over 50s and Over 60s classes again delivered close entertaining riding impressing new spectators thinking they were younger riders

The schoolboy classes, although poor in numbers aquited themselves well especially Cullum Sedgwick and Louis Smith who won their class respectively.
A good days safe and enjoyable racing.
